cloud nothings is really good check out my friend sam's band Teen Suicide they made an EP that sounds like cloud nothings before they heard cloud nothings shouts out to the 90s emo revival

^i heard the album without knowing anything about it, first thing i thought was "hey, this reminds me a lot of Jawbreaker"..
then i found out it was produced by Albini (da Gawd). it all made sense. great fucking album!

The above two. How many times have I seen these in the racks and yet passed them by. Could this be a sign that the time is nigh upon which gmku must purchase?

Well... perhaps. I need to go on down to Harvest and pick up my special-order Serena Maneesh LP (the one from 2010). Maybe I'll pick these up too if'n they're in the store.

Thing is, I've resolved to buy mostly new music, i.e., 2010-plus, this year. Last year was this big catching up year for me, and I bought a huge amount of stuff to fill holes in my collection from the 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s, and 50s.

I really need to get back into more recent stuff.
