I'm not sure about the vocals on Lion demo, but instead of changing them drastically, I just recorded them and said hell with it because my throat is feeling sort of raw right now.

Tell me what you think about that one specifically. Was it Calculated? and Com are already on recordings, but Lion isn't final.

Glice- I'm sure you hate the very 80's style of delay I use on the track, but I don't care, and I usually don't use delay in this fashion.

I listened this morning, and Im listening again now. They all sound great. I need to get to know them better to really appretiate them.

Haha. I dunno. I just sing stuff differently sometimes I guess. I think I'm starting to get more comfortable with my voice or something. I'm just trying to sing the songs and go by the song instead of trying to find some sort of universal intonation of my voice that works for everything. Plus I've learned a tad about EQ'ing, comp, and verb and I use Shure mics now instead of Sony ones.

Lion was just sort of last night with a sore throat, but for Com and Was It Calculated? I spent a lot of time brewing tea and I was drinking tea between takes and between verses. Was It Calculated? rolls over from the title track and I just kept recording while it the instrumentals were playing, got more tea, and ran downstairs just in time to belt out the vocals.

I think being out of the room and having to run in added some urgency to get them in on time. It was fun.

Excellent, once again Diesel. Get sending demos out, for fuck's sake.
