i mentioned alice in chains because of the jean shorts and the longgish hair. also jerry cantrell (aic guitar dude) played a guitar like yours later on in his career.

I know I know. I can see where you are coming from. The guitar is actually a Music Man Axis. I also take back the statement that I hate Alice in Chains. I'm just not into them. I do hate Van Halen though. Why be that good at guitar if you are gonna play the most annoying music ever?
