Yes they are. thought you'd like that one. They're regarded as semi-legendary in the underground scene here for being an intense live band, or so I've heard. I have one 7" and its b-side is amazing as fuck.

I'd only seen him doing that Dave Stewart type thing in Nathan Barley until now. Had no idea who he was. He's fucking brilliant!

I'm glad you liked him 'cause he's truly one of the best and pretty much unique at what he does. You could maybe compare him to Leigh Bowery but I think he's much darker than him. I was going to post about him on the non-twats thread 'cause he deals with elements of drag etc that could easily turn you into a twat if you don't know what you're doing, yet the Divine David Hoyle manages to come out unscathed by it all.

Yeah. I watched some more youtube stuff of him after checking out your link and was blown away. You're right that he could so easily be just another Julian Clary but he's far too cutting than that. Seriously, one of the best comic finds I've come across in absolutely ages. Almost up there with my beloved Daniel Kitson.
