Sonic Youth - s/t bootlegs?
 

There was a record stall at a market I went to today and the dude had a few SY records including what seemed to be the Neutral pressing of s/t, but it was way too fresh looking to be 34 years old. I figured it must have been a bootleg of some sort....anyone else ever come across these?

Yeah there are a fresh copies of Confusion, Goo & DDN around very good pirate copies !!

These days I think there are not any rare albums somebody doesn´t make bootlegs...of course those that somebodies want. And if they cost 20-30 euros, you can be sure they´re bootlegs.

I think one way to verify if its a bootleg or not is by the stamped trail out etchings on the actual vinyl... that means you need to know what the original etching is...

from the sleeve itself and the label on the vinyl you can be fooled as those are easily duped.

The 3 I've mentioned do not have anything stamped or etched on the runout grooves they are all blank.

Then they are boots, runout grooves are noted on originals at discogs
