Yeah, I think they'll be alright without Jarboe. And that's just Gira's home demo, so I'm sure it'll sound a lot different later. I'm curious if the album will be more like early or later Swans.

It's been 2 years since the last Boris album, so we may expect a new one for 2010. Also, it seems that Neurosis will hit the studio sometime during the first half of the year. And there's a new Melvins confirmed, too. Looking forward to a lot of great new releases.

new xiu is pretty good. better than women as lovers but then again so was everything released since!

I still think Women As Lovers was kinda underrated. Yeah, it's pretty much their weakest album, but there's some good stuff on there. It works a lot better if you resequence it so the second side isn't so stuffed with slow songs.

Xiu Xiu is definitely the best joke band of all time, up there with the Frogs. Seriously -- their sense of humor is underrated.

i just downloaded the new shearwater. i have pretty good expectations for it.
