Black Sabbath announced a "warm up" date before their Download fest gig:

http://www.black-sabbath.com/2012/04...in-birmingham/

if i was in UK, i would not miss it. can't make it to their sole US show in Chicago this year, hopefully some more in the future if Tony is recovering sufficiently.

Tonight is lee ranaldo. The good/bad thing is that he is opening for m.ward. Bad because he should headline, but good brcause I work at 3am. So...I won't be getting much sleep tonight. Doesn't bother me too much though because. It's lee fucking ranaldo.

I saw Thee Oh Sees yesterday and would recommend it to everyone.
They're spot on from beginning to end, and they play quite perfectly (what a drummer...).

EVOLghost 06.07.2012 07:43 AM

^ I think they're playing Pitchfork this year...which I do plan on attending.

But yeh...this Sunday is Radiohead.

hirsute_biped 06.11.2012 04:32 PM

Just back from it. Excellent. I think I got a fair recording. I won't now be going to Kitty, Daisy & Lewis tomorrow, but still on for the rest (and maybe one or two besides)
