basically every great swedish and japanese hardcore band copied their style. actually there wouldn't be any modern thrash scene without the "discharge sound" (some people call it d-beat punk).

I get a kick out of seeing their old albums getting deluxe "audiophile 180" LP reissues.
Their music totally holds up after all this time, though.
