In September, Ty Segall, Thee Oh Seas, and The Spits are all playing in the same week at this one bar in Richmond. it's gonna rule.

Swans and Saint Vitus (with Wino on vocals!) are the two I am currently looking forward to the most.

This thread makes me depressed. I'm such a starving artist.

At least I have a sweet psych-drone setup and some sick synths to fuck with.

if i manage to get back home in december, i got a GWAR ticket waiting for me.
was hoping to go see Platinum Blonde/Prism/Kim Mitchell the other night, but things just didn't work out for that show. also it was a good 2.5 hour drive away from here. not to mention, i dont have the kind of cash to just grab a friend and go like i normally did back home. it sucks that theres no small club kinda thing where i can see 3 or 4 bands for $5 around here. or at least, i haven't found one yet. but me and some friends back home would go to see whoever. i mean it's $5 (plus $6 to park, and maybe $10 for gas, then split up between however many are going)
