I've been listening to kool sounds this afternoon!

the short answer is that they sound like d.r.i. from around the thrashzone era, only way better and 10 times as fun.

I've spoken to the guy who took them (Mick Rock) -a very nice guy, quite camp in his own way, but a genuine legend. He knoweth plenty about I Pop, Bowie, L Reed etc. He spends much of his time these days in NY/LA/Tokyo. Lucky guy - me most jealous!
