what's side 2 sound like? i still can't listen to any of my records. |
It is a like.. three different tones that kind of drone on... and on annd on and on with no end. It kind of sounds vaguely like a reversed voice with a click or something following it.
When you get the ability to listen to it, should you feel compelled to hear this, dont bother for more than about a minute... I wasted 17 minutes thinking it would do somethinng.. nice one lee. |

is it not etched?
|
Yes.
Oh wait i looked it up, apparently it really is just part of a singles series. its a 12 inch though and all the pieces are on side one so side 2 is just.. i dont know XD guess I can't hold it against him then |
I wouldn't have damaged the etching by playing it for so long would I have..?
God I feel stupid, its a one sided album.. |
ha ha you're the best. I was waiting to see how long it would take you to figure that out, haha
|
Hahah well I guess I didn't take that long.. XD only after I wasted 17 minutes.
WEll I guess I had no real way of knowing.. its not like the packaging or record give many details |
2/5 I was given this as a gift by my middle school age cousin, she said she got it for me becaue it said it had lil wayne on it.. This is pretty much painfully mediocore music for lame ass douche bags aside from the first two songs (one of those being the weezy track). Garbage (save for 2 songs out of fucking 12). WHy the fuck is NaS on this..? |

yeah i thought you meant song two was named side two. |

doubtful, but you probably cut the life of yr needle in half |
Yeah. Haha I got this back in october, I think you commented on it. But yeah its a cool place, I wish I had had a bit more time in there though. While there I also got syr 7, the king buzzo ep, and the strange mini cd ep of the meat puppets' in a car.

Thurston Moore - Blindfold...
Dreamy, dissonant feel to begin with, different to what I expected... got a kinda Wolf Eyes/SYR 3 vibe going on? (think the John Wiese / Wolf Eyes shizzle) |
3.5/5 |
SYR7 is a 7/10
|
3.5x2=7 5x2=10
our scores are the same |
Youth of America is such a rockin album, like throw your pumped fists in the air and hold back tears of joy sorta rocking. The Wipers are such a "favorite band" type of band yknow?
anyways; Circuit des Yeux-Symphone (love this record, gotta add it to my best of 08 soon, really minimal electronics, subtly beautiful ugly vocals, sdome folk action) earlier: Led Zeppelin-Physical Grafitti (does anyone find this album vastly superior to the rest of the zep records? i love all thier albums prior to this too, but this album is just kinda, wierd.) Swell Maps-Jane from Occupied Europe Mammal-Fog III Smegma-Glamour Girl 1941 Steely Dan-Katy Lied Skip James-1931 Sessions |
