I also can't prebuy a ticket for the Berlin gig tomorrow without such a stupid plastic card. But I'm sure the Volksbühne will sell me one at the door.

all bullshit, tickets for berlin are still available at eventim, and you can/could get tickets at every ticketstore in the country. i NEVER had to buy a ticket with my credit card in germany, thank god.

i am from austria. i think the show in munic is almost sold out.

The concert must serve a security function as well as an economic function. By forcing you to use a credit card, your behavior is registered wth the State. Thurston's show is also serving a social class function, by ensuring that only people who are eligible for credit cards (or choose to get one) are able to attend.

I bought my Glasgow show ticket on the door with cold, hard cash.

I got my London ticket on the door with cash too, the feds wont catch me...

And the ticket at the door of Volksbühne was 2€ cheaper than the one at the eventim plugin of their website.

Blow-dried Thurston Moore in suit jacket looks like Günther Jauch. And I did not like the drummer. He can't rock. But the support act was great. Anybody know about Tall Firs? Should I buy their records?
