Burn Me Clean remains an awesome song, no matter how many times I've heard it |

And the sort of stuff that opened me up to that:

I received the first two albums of the Fall 2019 bundle offer from Constellation Records:
the new Fly Pan Am, I'm not familiar with any of their previous albums. This one sounds like the first couple of My Bloody Valentine albums, with some additional electronic/synthesiser noodlings. I only liked the last song. Perhaps more spins will be needed, but I rather listen to something else ... The new Sandro Perri. This one is quite good, will definitely listen to this one more often. |

No attack, no trolling, no hard feelings, just a very slightly tongue-in-cheek yet honest comment I can't resist making after seeing that cover: This album destroyed my life; stop now or you'll never finish college. :) Actually, Pleased To Meet Me was the first for me, but Let It Be and Tim finished me off. The mighty Mats. My band. |

this record fucking slaps, it's a total piece of shit and I adore it |
BEASTIE BOYS live @ Lorelei fest (GER), 20 june 1998
great gig in even splendid sound. The only problem with this vid is that the second part comes before the first part, but whatever. There's also another version in proper order, but the sound quality on that one sucks. It does have an interview at the end. I never listen to the Beastie Boys, but got a sudden urch for whatever reason. |

Check out some of the early Fly Pan Am material. Very much worth it. |

The new Blut Aus Nord is really great. I've been waiting so long for psychedelia to go less sunshiney blissout and more evil/dark/encompassing and it's finally happening. These people have always had more imagination than the average black metal crowd and this record ditches all the tropes and heads into the cold of the cosmos. Along with forward thinking types like Aluk Todolo and Oranssi Pazuzu et al, this is the music I've been waiting for. Love this. Can't wait to get the vinyl I pre-ordered on blind faith. Turns out it was a wise decision. |

Is this the new one, how is it? I'm guessing it sounds exactly like the rest of their stuff. |

Stars Are The Light......you can hear for yourself. The songs are much shorter and mellower than, Occult Architecture. So far Eye 2 Eye is my favorite, but the album builds to a mellow groove that frustratingly fades away. I’m expecting some sort of remix-extended mix version to follow (hopefully) |
They have a couple of really good records.
Saw them live once and good God what a snore. |

This is a really good fucking album, by the way. Points for this. |
She Died 49 Years Ago Today In A Hollywood Hotel From A Heroin Overdose......solid Spotify playlist included inside.

Caitlin Rose - The Stand-In Rough Trade exclusive bonus disc of live demos. An absolute joy. (By the way, it's been six years since this album, her latest... I hope she's not going through an Iris DeMent-like writer's block. :() |
Could pick this one up on vinyl, if I so desired. |
Ghosteen – Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds (Global Premiere)
3 songs down, I'm not yet sure. It's more lofi/mellow than the good ol'e bad seeds. Don't have time to finish it right now... |

I read many similar sounding thoughts/reviews yesterday. The most memorable saying: “I wish Nick Cave still sounded like Nick Cave, instead of trying to sound like David Bowie. I miss Nick Cave.” OUCH! |

I'm having a Sunday brunch with a Big Mango!
