Am I the only one who can drag and drop a pic into Google Images? Goddammit... https://www.google.com/search?tbs=sbi:AMhZZiv2pNv-TFikX9XEdSSlLfof0xa7G5wL-TWj-gSu_13YGvK7UgnW2cINzRrpXSpZxpwHsjMmoheBUB2HtkgSJLC 3GeK5k0msBEH8YJr6BvYFG_1CrjjpKaA3dvfUPZEwnasWfm6Qq Q00Hjzqop6O7P6dYKf4d1r5FdtGIMrKdv536GPuCyN8G7bHQ09 o6_17SO4MLimk5KjuSlk4QUR1X-HLBLgmyIqb1He8Va7LopjVKwzU5PjCOlehwjjxN1CIAzNl9wou wge8QFviNmnhJbWI0ey-yglL2gGIQRNTbukJSnqJd5GvV8AOm0kxaK7QISCmIi8ZX8LvMU NX2MiT4xgkQ9Q-WyQ-A&hl=en-CL |
Based on what I know about this forum, if you were going to like an MCR album, it would be this one. |

anyway, yesterday I was travelling by train and listened to these, in no particular order because I forgot the order....: Twinsistermoon, "Bogyrealm Vessels" superweird depressive drone folk music, saw him live once, at first I wanted to run away, then I was completely spell bounded. Should check out this stuff (and Natural Snow Buildings) some more but never did. The second track is a bit too chaotic, the other two are wonderful. But I love most of everything by Lubomyr and I have pretty much all his albums. Going, Going … - The Wedding Present Beautiful cover art, but definitely not their best album. It got some great licks though and still some fine tunes too more Scout Nibblet. This one is with Will Oldham on a couple of songs. According to Wikipedia she plays all instruments Nevada I can listen on repeat all day long, especially on this black cab version |

"It's not even an innocence, it's a freedom to not bother about how a song should sound, if it's in tune or not. The whole thing of beginning one song and then having to go back and do it in another key, but keeping it on the album, sums up the times when I used to be with people and we'd sit around and sing and play music together. There'd always be an acoustic guitar, drums, instruments around, and he epitomised that moment to me, it's as if you're in the flat with him and he's doing these songs. It's also that vulnerability that Nico had, and he wasn't afraid to show it." -Cosey Fanny Tutti |
there's a second track streaming on bandcamp for Oiseaux Tempete's new album which will be released next month and it's quite amazing. Like Silver Mt Zion meets Godzilla?
(track 1 is the new one, track 5 was already available) there's also a video for the new song: OISEAUX-TEMPÊTE // He Is Afraid And So Am I |
Going, Going … - The Wedding Present Beautiful cover art, but definitely not their best album. It got some great licks though and still some fine tunes too [IMG] I would listen to it just because of cover art and I will. I know the name, but never listened to it. |

I will pay respect to its full title here: Burritos, Inspiration Point, Fork Balloon Sports, Cards in the Spokes, Automatic Biographies, Kites, Kung Fu, Trophies, Banana Peels We've Slipped On and Egg Shells We've Tippy Toed Over. |

aurora nealand & the royal roses
the lookback transmission this album contains “ferry man” which is a little tune i love to listen to (and in it she reminds me of anita o’day a bit) but also has the danciest, happiest fucking version of jacques brel’s pathetic (in the serious sense) “ne me quitte pas,” which is an embarrassing cry of brokenhearted beggary that nevertheless works, and it’s a classic that’s been covered by a million people, many sucky, some very good, but i love that this one cover runs counter to all pity that and becomes a party song. hah! well eventually she flips to a sadder mode but without brel’s histrionics (brel was very theatrical, it was all an act, his crocodile tears crack me up). ANYWAY. fun fun album if you love new orleans shit, she appears in some episodes of tremé actually. eta: as the youtube shows, yeah eta: i fixed some fuckups in the data above, added links |
