true, she's a bass player, not a frontwoman. she has the personality to pull it off, but not the songwriting skills (see how her album was mostly handled by chris goos/josh homme/qotsa-desert sessions crew.)

Everything by Unwound is great.

Courtney as a person aside. I liked every Hole album. Even this one. The title track, "Northern Star," "Drowning," etc. Some good stuff.
