awesome. I was gonna ask you if yrs was the same version. I never realized that 10k Bars was actually just SQ7 until recently. So then I was happy to realize that it was an official mixtape. Anyway, yeah the transitions suck, but really it's a pretty fucking amazing tape. Especially given the circumstances under which it was recorded. I love the part like 20 mins in when he's like kind of laughing and like "my producer just told me I still have 40 minutes to go" haha. |
I've always tried to like this one, but I've seriously heard better arrangements on a Wesley Willis album. eh. |

3.5/5 Fun, spazzy, balls out (even if it is a chick), pretense-free pop-punk, nothing more nothing less. And you know what? There's nothing wrong with that. |

Something/Anything?
Still on side 1. Pretty good so far. The only song I'd ever heard before was the first one. |

4/5 The older guys are really holding it down this year! (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., The Meat Puppets, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, U2... all of em have released some pretty damn good albums this year) |

nice. I didn't think you liked chopped n screwed music. I went thru a bit of a phase over the summer myself. |

But, I do like DJ screw's music, there is a difference between his stuff and what is now called 'chopped and screwed'. I've always liked Screw Music. I'm from Houston after all XD. I've never seen that Zappa one. |

there's a lot of lazy choppedscrewd, but I do think Michael 500 Watts is good. He definitely is creative with it. The bonus disc he did for Carter II is very good. That Zappa album is part of the Beat The Boots series. Boxsets of live albums released by Rhino in the 90's. I like them a lot because they're very raw and varied representations of various points of his career. |
