*Actually* that’s not how I feel about it.

Also I *actually* haven’t heard a human being speak about it out loud.

Also I *actually* didn’t like it at first, and missed “White Men are Black Men Too,” but upon further examination it revealed its greatness to me. And it’s a really solid album that does what I want albums to do, which is: keep my attention, capture multiple moods and sounds, be eclectic and leave an impression.

So *actually* shutup

I just imagine you sitting in an armchair smoking a pipe...

“ACTUALLY....” and then bubbles come out of the pipe and it turns out your British accent was faked.

‘S’a’good album

they are a side project band, even if they are a great one. I suspect they will come and go at their own pace, which will probably be slowish. I saw them about a year-and-a-half ago in Chicago and it was pretty incredible.

Word is Meg Baird joined Yo La Tengo onstage last night for a lengthy version of, Goin’ Back......part of the yearly YLT Hanukkah concert series.

Pretty decent. Rather original for a Vaporwave/Synthwave album, actually. I'm really digging "Transient Feeling"

All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
This is not enough
I'm in serious shit, I feel totally lost
If I'm asking for help it's only because
Being with you has opened my eyes
Could I ever believe such a perfect surprise?
I keep asking myself, wondering how
I keep closing my eyes but I can't block you out
Want to fly to a place where it's just you and me
Nobody else so we can be free
All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
This is not enough
This is not enough
All the things she said
All the things she said

And I'm all mixed up, feeling cornered and rushed
They say it's my fault but I want her so much
Want to fly her away where the sun and rain
Come in over my face, wash away all the shame
When they stop and stare - don't worry me
'Cause I'm feeling for her what she's feeling for me
I can try to pretend, I can try to forget
But it's driving me mad, going out of my head
All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
This is not enough
This is not enough
All the things she said
All the things she said
Mom they're looking at me
Tell me what do you see?
Yes, I've lost my mind
Dad they're looking at me
Will I ever be free?
Have I crossed the line?
All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
All the things she said
All the things she said
Running through my head
This is not enough
This is not enough
All the things she said
All the things she said

Seefeel - Quique

(thanks d.sound :D )

Dr. Eugene Felikson 12.11.2018 10:44 PM

Perversor - Cult of Destruction

another example of an album which would be so much better if it weren't hindered by its intentional lo-fi production

Can't stand when modern metal bands do this

Very thrashy very b.m. otherwise, solid overall but the production is muddier than stew thrown into a ceiling fan
