Seriously? I think it's terrible. I much prefer 1969. Also, the Live at the Gymnasium Lp is pretty amazing, especially if you like real early VU.

Have you heard the Quine tapes? Max's has nothing on that shit. The guitar at the end of New Age is beyond words.

WFMU Archive trawling. Currently playing is Thelonious Monk's "Ugly Beauty", off the album "Underground". It's amazing. Although my favourite track from that album is still "Thelonious", which is STUNNING!
