I never thought I'd get back into Metallica after last being into them when I was attending junior high school, but the wife said we should get the Master of Puppets reissue, and damn if she wasn't right! I think we'll have to get the first two albums now.

Did I miss something? Last I checked that was just a rare colored vinyl comp of early EP's. One that I do not own, much to my increasing consternation.

Has there been a reissue of some kind?

on this album Em apologized for being a racist, mocked beefs in hip-hop, talked to his daughter, degraded women again and told a lot of fart jokes (eww).. 5/10

I was disappointed actually to find out my copy wasn't colored vinyl. But I don't know. It's been in the bin in the local store a few months now. It's on discogs and even Sound Stage Direct. Maybe it was legitimized somehow. In any case, it sounds great! It's on the Lazy Records label.

My only nit with this and some other double bootleg LPs I've picked up recently, e.g., the JAMC peel sessions, is that they don't come with a gatefold cover. They stuff the two LPs inside a single fold. You'd think with these great recordings they could take some time and make the cover art as great as the music inside. How much more would it cost to make this a gatefold cover, add a little mroe art, etc.?

I love the picture but they completely ruin the cover by plastering their name across the front in such a garish fashion. Terrific music though.

I know, the blew the cover. Especially after OnOFFOn's awesome cover. Which, oddly, is kinda similar.

With the help of some equalising, it sounds lovely
