Turntables

I'm thinking about jumping on the vinyl bandwagon. Could you recommend me a high quality turntable?

And is it true that "The Crucifixion of Sean Penn" drones longer on the vinyl of "EVOL"?

I think, if I am not mistaken, that the crucifixion of sean penn ends on a clocked groove, which keeps the nopise going until you lift the needle.

someone correct me if I am wrong.

If you can, try to find a place that sells good used ones near where you live. sometimes record stores have them, sometimes electronic repaior places have them. or even, go to pawn shops and see what they have, write down the model and name and maker, and do a little quick research on the internet. you can google the model name and numbver and you will see lots of descriptions and reviews and such, and you may luck into a very good turntable fr under $60. you never know.
