I just saw Merzbow
 

It was pretty neat. Anyone else see him and have a pretty neat time?

Did he play the drums? Motherfucker needs to lose the laptop and just play the drums........

He played his makeshift noise guitar thing a majig.

Huh, I know of wish I had gone to see him now, I have zero interest in watching a dude press buttons on a laptop, even if it's a handsome dude like Masami Akita.......

I saw him a few weeks ago. It was good but not totally impressive. He did have a laptop open, but he was also playing the weird guitar thing. He played with a drummer who improv'd and more or less did blast beats the whole time. I thought it was kind of awkward.

I was more impressed with the opener, Justice Yeldman, who rubbed his face on a piece of glass with a contact mic attached it and then broke the glass over his head at the end of the set. He surpassed Merzbow in style and in brutality. A+

I saw him last night as well. I tried but it really wasn't my thing. I preferred the opening band.

Merzbow has to be one of the most boring noisemusicans live ever.

His albums are great, but there are way funnier people to see live with more show and action.
