Thin crust be damned. Gourmet bullshit, I'd rather eat pizza as a meal than as an appetizer, if you know what I'm saying. Plus, if you want to complain about how unhealthy pizza is, (I'm not saying you do, just the general population of douche-bag health-freaks) don't eat pizza.

I woulda pointed you to the Pizza Box, on Bleecker Street in the Village, but it looks like it's shut down now.

If yr in Brooklyn, the consensus is that Grimaldi's, under the Brooklyn Bridge on Fulton, is a sort of must-visit if pizza's yr thing.

Does anyone know the pizza joint which has photos of the owner wth various actors (the only one of whom I can remember is Adam Sandler)? It's fairly close to Central Park if memory serves. I want to try and track it down again when I return to New York next week.
