This is amazing ... Insta-buy!!

Now let's hope Low will release their entire-catalogue-7-nights-live-sets in some sort of form in the future. That will also be insane!

By the by, did anybody have any issues downloading the 7.1GB megadrone? Their server or whatever caps me at 100kB/s, which means the download takes 24 hours. When I got here today it had failed at about 6.3GB.

it took me about 4,5 hours to download. It's not smart to put it all in one big zip file, but I guess bandcamp is not really built for sharing 28 hours of music in one set ;)
Started listening around 11PM last night, and really had to force myself to stop at 1AM so that I could still get up in the morning .... Good stuff, but I do need to be in the right mood for it
I did update the tags, and switched the artist tags with the title tags.

I could send you whatever you're stil missing if you want. I assume you did pay for the files anyway

I'll try again this weekend, starting on Friday night. I just need the office to be empty, free from mooks who can interfere with the download.

And YES I paid for the files... Whaddayathink I am, some kind of wretched degenerate?

New album: Boss covers

30 years on and Springsteen is still inspiring...

It's unsettling to think Born In The USA is three decades old; so let's not. Instead let's focus on the less frightening, chirpier facts, mainly word on a new tribute record on the way.
To be released on Nashville indie Lightning Rod Records, Dead Man's Town will features less athemic, countrified versions of the 12 tracks featured on the famous Bruce Springsteen album including Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires' Steve Earle-esque take on the title track. Low, Justin Townes Earle and North Mississippi All-Stars (recent visitors to Cork, as is Shires herself) also feature.

Full tracklist:

01. Jason Isbell & Amanda Shires, "Born in the U.S.A."
02. Apache Relay, "Cover Me"
03. Quaker City Nighthawks, "Darlington County"
04. Blitzen Trapper, "Working on the Highway"
05. Joe Pug, "Downbound Train"
06. Low, "I'm on Fire"
07. Holly Williams, "No Surrender"
08. Ryan Culwell, "Bobby Jean"
09. Trampled by Turtles, "I’m Goin’ Down"
10. Justin Townes Earle, "Glory Days"
11. Nicole Atkins, "Dancing in the Dark"
12. North Mississippi All-Stars, "My Hometown"

- Dead Man's Town will be released in September 2014

I really wish people would remember what a shit pile that album is.
Sorry, but "The Boss" is not now and never was cool.
Even his supposedly "credible" period predates this dadrock crap.
