My placement with them was luck of the draw, really. Plus we are from the same area and have crossed paths on and off for 20 years, including a different drone marathon about ten or twelve years back. Hell, I share a studio with their former bassist. Smallish town. But thanks! It was super fun.

I second that wholeheartedly! Now, just for the hecks of it, I grabbed my CD copy of The Curtain Hits The Cast, extracted "Do You Know How To Waltz?" (the closest reference to the long drone, I guess) with EAC and then encoded it to FLAC level 8 with TLH: 77.6MB. That's approximately 5.35MB per minute, 321MB per hour... 8.77GB per 28-hour drone. Gotta clean out some room on the hard drive, huh...

In other news, Natalie Zea is hotter than a urinary infection! Not that that has anything to do with anything.

Well, the business is... not quite mine, but kind of - it's a small one and I run the show when it comes to the computers here.

By the by, did anybody have any issues downloading the 7.1GB megadrone? Their server or whatever caps me at 100kB/s, which means the download takes 24 hours. When I got here today it had failed at about 6.3GB. :mad:
