Probably a stupid question

Has anyone got a good recording of the ''Freezer Burn/etc'' gig? Thanx.

EVOLghost 06.09.2011 02:06 AM

That's a stupid question.

Genteel Death 06.09.2011 02:26 AM

Yeah: what IS that?

stu666 06.09.2011 11:04 AM

i guess you mean the show they did with the Swans at The Pier, Raleigh, N.C. november 1982?

no i don't have it, sorry.

jennthebenn 06.09.2011 01:28 PM

Thought I may have had it, but it turned out to be the show from the day
before in Carrboro, NC at Cat's Cradle.

canabero 06.09.2011 04:17 PM

it's a good question, i have no idea if there's a tape circulating whit "Freezer Burn". if stu don't have it, then maybe does not exist...

Chris Lawrence 06.09.2011 11:10 PM

i'm confused, what are you all referring to regarding 'freezer burn'? it was a separate piece of ambient noise recorded inside a freezer, and not a part of the actual raleigh gig. are you wanting the full raleigh show? that probably only exists in the band's archive. i wonder how much unused freezer noise they have...

I had almost forgotten about this product of my drunken imagination. Sorry, I indeed mean the gig that spawned the Stooges cover. I don't check the live recordings thread because I'm not interested in it much, so I thought someone might have upped it on there already and I missed it. I see that's not the case. Booo to you SY geeks!

Chris Lawrence 06.10.2011 08:34 PM

another candidate for 'confusion is sex' deluxe, perhaps.

Genteel Death 06.15.2011 02:46 AM

I suspect it'd be a great live album on its own.
