Well the joke is on them because by the time they are our age the sea will be made of poison and the air will be on fire. |

Hadn't listened to this record in years. Favourite song on this is always 'Teller'. |
^ A few days ago they released a new song. New album due 2025, apparently.

I refuse to accept that videogame soundtracks are a music category.

It seems like you refuse to accept a lot of things, like the fact you are clueless about a lot of things. Warhammer 40,000 - Darktide |

Nah, pfft, that's the first thing I do accept: "All I know is I don't know jack". In fact, check out what one of my favorite artists, Lisa Walker of Wussy, had to say about the soundtrack of this thing called Kentucky Route Zero: https://daily.bandcamp.com/big-ups/w...camp-favorites Ain't gonna stop me from disliking videogames, however. |
Ok that's a bit different of what you were saying there. And yeah that's fair. But maybe follow up on the advice of one of your favourite artists and actually give it a listen? I think you'll be surprised.

Power Of The Spoken Word – The Language Of A Dying Breed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEhD...ingandPunkRock ''Hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, these guys released one of the most insane albums of the 80s. I saw them a handful of times in Kansas City and Lincoln. If anything comes close to a schizophrenic’s mind, it’s this album. Ikky, their singer, was actually schizophrenic. At least half the band died from overdoses, and the music on this record is absolutely phenomenal. My old friend, Mott, did the artwork on the cover…. Pure schizo genius…bought acid from them in the back of their van at a show and I couldn’t get out of that van fast enough…the whole inside of the van was a nightmare!'' - r/vinyl |
it's bandcamp friday!!! so i bought a bunch of stuff, some new and some older that I had on my wishlist for some time. Including these ones:
Patterns of Consciousness by caterina barbieri Not the biggest fan of electronic music, but the sounds she makes are marvellous. Pruillip by PRUILLIP Slow and spacious doom, from Belgian. Not all songs are great, but the ones that are are great! Especially on headphones Paris by Nils Frahm Released today! Live album, and this time it's a complete concert, instead of a mix from an entire tour. |
I was supposed to listen to a whole buncha new stuff this weekend.
However, customs has it. |
The International P.E.A.C.E. Benefit Compilation, to learn about the state of the world forty years ago through angry punk bands.
