it's that million dollar bash or goin' to aaaacaaaapuuuulllllcoooo hheeeeyeeeeaaaaaahhhh |
It's got "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere," right? Or what is the name of that song? I'm starting to jones this LP now.
For some reason, mine's a cut-out reissue with a quarter-inch hole cut in the upper left corner of the jacket. I hate when they do that. But it must not have bothered me at the time, cuz I did buy it. |

helll yheah!!!!! This one is hard to find I love love love their covers on this. especially revulotion ( buthole surfersZ) and sophisticated bitch (Public enemy) and SLACK MOTHERFUCKER!!!! click to listen! (Mike Watt) -"we're gonna do Blue Oyster Cult again, no wait...we're gonna do "slack motherfucker". This song's about working for an asshole." |
yeah, I've learned to be less so, especially regarding the jackets. You get better deals that way. I draw the line at scratches and skips though.
|
me no purchase scratched items. covers I can deal with. damage to covers. but the vinyl must be listenable!
|
Yes. I don't go below VG+, which usually means minor surface noise and no scratches and skips. I've got some terribly beat up record jackets with EX or better vinyl inside.
|
yeah i meant the sleeves mostly. i don't mind if there is a skip or two or a bit of hiss and pop.
|
Hiss and pop, surface noise, doesn't bother me terribly if it isn't too noticeable (interferes with hearing the music). But as mostly a headphone listener, I'm probably more sensitive to it and thus pickier than many people.
Skips and scratches, though, I cannot tolerate. |

MOOG 900 SERIES ELECTRONIC MUSIC SYSTEMS
JUNE 1967 Wendy agreed to produce that record for R. A. Moog, Inc. I believe that (s)he was working for Gotham Recording at the time. Wendy came to Trumansburg. The two of us sat around a table and wrote the narrative together. Then she went back to New York and did the rest, either in her own studio or at Gotham. I think that it's very good. We were very happy to have it, and to be able to GIVE it to prospective customers. We NEVER sold it. Bob Moog, April 2002
