I don't understand this shit. Why doe's everyone say this?

krastian 07.17.2006 12:49 AM

It means you tried to give someone rep, but it won't let you because you did it to recently. Oh and hey did you get American Masters over in Australia? Prob. not, but there was a good doc. on Woody Guthrie on there the other night.

Really? Nah, I didn't even know about this. Would have been cool.

terminal pharmacy 07.17.2006 01:04 AM

We rarely get full documentary series like that here.

krastian 07.17.2006 01:11 AM

Yeah it was on PBS......public broadcasting. Really good.....I think I'd take Hank Williams over Woody though for that lonesome voice. What do you guys think.....I'm drunk and talkin' out of ass.

I still need to get one of his CDs. They're so expensive here, though. What's a good one to get?

HAHA, it could be the booze, ya could be relating to Hank as he was a booze hound.

I like them both. To be honest, I haven't heard much of Hank, but from what I have, I would pick Woody. I'd pick Woody over most, though. So...

Depends...my favorite one is their self-titled from 1989. A lot of their other stuff has a lot less structure and is much harsher but that's what i like about it. I downloaded almost everything i have  they're just way too hard to find and/or too expensive. If you have slsk, i can hook you up.

That other thread inspired me to dust off some Bush cd's. Therefore I'm listening to the album: Sixteen Stone.

I've always thought Hatebreed is one of, if not the worst, name for a band ever.

krastian 07.17.2006 03:09 AM

True, it's bad....but it IS a play off of The Misfits song Hate Breeders. Their lyrics are actually really positive. It's not like that.

Norma J 07.17.2006 03:12 AM

Hmmm, I did not know this. Thats a plus.

Listening to Razorblade Suitcase now.

krastian 07.17.2006 03:20 AM

Not only does the music kick ass, but they talk about just being yrself and you know, being real.....fuck the bullshit. Plus how everything is crazy....been a fan since 1998 or so. Love it....fun to play fast like that too. Quite the rush.

I've just bought The Evens CD after hearing a couple of tracks and I'm having trouble getting into it. Perhaps a whole CD of this kind of stuff is a bit much.

Still, I'm going to catch my train home now so it'll be Rather Ripped on the way.
