Burned Sweet
Burnt Suite s/t LP Fantastic local CT private press -- a wild hard rock bluesy-psych album, with a heavy Blue Cheer vibe and some pretty avant-garde machine-gun guitar work and crazy sound experiments in spots (just check out the amazing out-of-nowhere no-wave guitar solo at the end of "It's What You Wanted" below.) The heavy rock tracks are offset by some wistful and rural sounding real-people type country-blues-rock, very nice stuff. Undated, and I have seen it attributed to 1968, 1969, and 1972. Masayuki Takayanagi New Direction Unit: Complete LaGrima live 1971
sicker than Dream Aktion Unit could ever be, has some of the the most intense of Takayanagi's schizophrenic guitar feedback and string actions from the godfather of noise guitar in Japan heavier than Haino, Hijokaiden, Kawabata etc etc... one of Otomo Yoshide's and Jim O'Rourke's hereos. |
now: (those strings are genius!!!) |

There's some ring wear for you. Kids, don't stack your LPs too tightly. |
i hate that ring, sometimes there's not a lot you can do about it when buying second hand records, right?
