My gtr pedal board is finally complete.

I just got this pedal board today and all my pedals are finally organized. Just $29 from ebay-covered in velcro!

Here's a side shot:

cool! cant understand well, tuner--> to the phasor --> muff??

m^a(t)h 06.05.2006 04:55 PM

i have no pedals. Just a cheap 60's guitar and a loud early 90's amp I got for free from a friend. Works out nice.... but im not saying I wouldnt take that away from you....

CHOUT 06.05.2006 04:55 PM

Yes it's the tuner to the phaser to the muff ending at the freq analyzer. I wasn't planning on having the muff on it, but I had extra room and an extra 1spot 9volt adapter. So far so good, I may do a little rearranging.

m^a(t)h 60' gtr and a laud 90' amp could allow a great tone!

good platform Chout! delay at the beginning and modulations at the end sound weird to me.......but what about the fuggar?

CHOUT 06.05.2006 05:09 PM

I like to have the giga delay at the beginning so I can modify loops with turning on and off other pedals after the loop signal.

next step 06.05.2006 05:11 PM

right, I was asking if that delay could be used as a recorder or looper in fact...

CHOUT 06.05.2006 05:14 PM

Yep, It has a great sound on sound loop feature and you can overdub infinitely. My band switches instruments at our gigs so its fun to make a quick loop to break the silence between songs, a la earlier SY.

sure, you could even go to the toilet if drunken!

No Blue Box? Chout..

next step 06.05.2006 05:27 PM

I'd like to say that Blue Box is definitely something very odd in a board but not so useful cause it affects the sound in a brutal way that is really cool for sure but in little doses.

CHOUT 06.05.2006 05:29 PM

See that aqua Danelectro pedal? That's basically a Blue Box in reverse - it's an octave up distortion instead of an octave down. Also good in small doses - probably harsher sounding than the blue box.

Danny Himself 06.05.2006 05:32 PM

Oh, I see. Turbo Rat!

I always wanted a Turbo Rat. :[

next step 06.05.2006 05:35 PM

I thought that pedal was just an octaver down, not dist. I mod on C11 my blue box cause it sounded really to dark to my ears....

electronics acupuncture :)

Here's the description from the mxr page.
MXR M-103 BLUE BOX

This unassuming little box shovels out enough low frequencies to scare a blue whale. It takes your guitar signal, fuzzes it up, then duplicates it two octaves down. You control the output and the mix between the dry signal and the effect. Using it 100% wet is quite an experience, but more recognizable sounds appear as you dial In more dry signal. The Blue Box is known for having a chaotic personality that can make each session a totally unique experience!

Danny Himself 06.05.2006 06:29 PM

Blue Boxes are good for making 'beep' broken signal sounds. I use one to recreate 'Starfield Road'-like phasing. It gives it a lot of kick in the dry region.

Still got it. I just got the EH Frequency Analyzer from a friend for $45, so I decided to use that to gig with instead.
Edit: It fits on the board better too.

That blue box sounds pretty cool. I've wanted to get an octave pedal for a while.
