Attn Men: Does it make you uncomfortable when dudes brush theor teeth

In public bathrooms?

I do it at work all the time, and did it when I was in college. Mostly because I'm anal retentive about bodily cleanliness. And because I hate realizing at the end of the day that I've been talking to coworkers with morsels of blueberry in my teeth. Then the Cleveland show made a hole about it, and because I'm also neurotic I want objective opinions.

Severian 03.09.2012 01:10 PM

Why I was watching the Cleveland show is a mystery even to me.

knox 03.09.2012 01:19 PM

I would like to see people brush their teeth more often.
Can't speak for men, but as a woman I didn't mind people brushing their teeth at work after lunch. It's just weird when they try to floss and have a conversation at the same time.

Can I see a photo of your teeth?
Do you floss?

i don't think it would bother me, then again it depends what the washroom is like. i haven't really worked anywhere that had a washroom i felt comfortable doing anything in, let alone something involving my mouth. Should be fine if you work at the dentists office.

knox 03.09.2012 01:26 PM

I'm not embarassed of watching the Cleveland show.
Would this bother you? Didn't seem to bother him? 1:19.

Yes. I will post a pic of my teeth. They're a little (read: extremely) crowded.

Can't wait.

nothing bizarre about that at all, but if youre neurotic about it then it will only take one person to say its a bit odd for you to discount everyone else saying its fine.

I personally fiddle around using my tongue (har har har) most of the time so i dont really suffer from "bits" between brushes

Not gonna ask why you want to see my teeth, but ....
Why do you want to see my teeth?

It's in my treasure tin.
Where I keep hair, stones, cards and other amazing things.
Witch, I know.

I love teeth.
Teeth = religion.

can't you wait till you get home? and there's a reason why the Cleveland Show comes on at 7:30.

Sometimes I'm there from 6am-6pm. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I know its not perfect, but it's grosser to not brush your teeth than it is to brush them in the can. But I use bottled water ti rinse and use a new cheapo brush every day.
The only real hazard is the shit particles in the air that flow into my mouth.

Did I mention I'm neurotic?
Also I try to only do it when nobody's present, but people pop in.

It should be fine if you keep your toothbrush in some sort of bag of wash bag somewhere safe. You may be right about bottled water, I never thought about it but people are always putting their germy hands on everything.

No weirder than washing your hands in the restroom. There's a sink. There's a faucet with running water. That's what it's there for. It's not like you're brushing your teeth over someone's desk.

I can actually see how clean they are.
They are very good teeth - fun to floss I bet.
Thanks so much for posting this.
