A New Track I Wrote

It's pretty much my usual guitar noise experiment, but w/ a little twist.

"Electronic Ambience Bliss (Turntable Taunt)"

-Hip Priest-
I thought people were happy to get a break from my relentless posting of my own music. I'm happy to hear it's the opposite.

-sellouteater-
What's the best way to get music to your computer?

Thank You Magublafix! Your opinions & comments are always appreciated.

My only problem w/ it is that it might get to "calming" at times.
Maybe it's me.

atari 2600 05.13.2006 07:32 PM

In my opinnion it's perfect, because if there aren't these calming parts, you wouldn't get these good feelings.

marleypumpkin 05.13.2006 07:39 PM

& there you have it folks, this is where I am when I'm not w/ you fine people.

& BTW, thanks atari.

A Thousand Threads 05.19.2006 01:46 AM

nice work dude
some cool tunes but
i kinda miss the drums in it

but it´s not your best work
"scaling the everglades" was ace

marleypumpkin 05.19.2006 03:07 AM

Why thanks for listening. I was short handed on instrumentation, I have had my drum set @ a friends house who I am starting a band w/. All I really had @ my disposal was my guitar, my bass, & my turntable. So, I figured I'd record a type of track that I've never tried before.
Thanks again for listening, & I'll make sure to keep trying my best to put out good music.

Here's something I just got done working on. Another solo guitar noise project.
I'm thinking of compiling all these solo guitar peices into 1 project.
Kinda like Alex Grey's "Progress Of The Soul"

Anyway, here it is...

"Trinity Of Storms"

Nice work. Kevin Drumm influence at all?

It's going to sound geeky, but I'm really impressed with your recording. I assume you don't have terribly expensive gear, but that's a lovely sound you've got out of it.

marleypumpkin 07.01.2006 06:28 PM

^:
No, not too much equipment at my disposal. Just some guitars, pedals, mics, & a 4-track recorder. & the equipment is not expensive at all. The Mustang guitar is more expensive than the 4-track. & it's an old '66.

& I haven't heard much about Kevin Drumm. I'd like to learn more though.

-EDIT-
Sorry, I forgot to thank you both for listening. Thanks!
