Could somebody, like, upload a mix of their favorites? I don't believe I've ever actually listened to any dubstep.

Glice 06.06.2009 12:18 PM

Dubstep mixes from the radio. Big up my Bristolian bredrin.

Glice 06.06.2009 12:18 PM

Although I'm not actually from Bristol. But don't let that get in the way.

Don't even need the drugs. I don't drink / drug / whatever, but count on me being at the Magnet bar for dub step night dancing like an idiot with indian businessmen every Saturday night (except tonight because I have work to do).

jimbrim 06.06.2009 12:53 PM

Cheers Glice, that was great. I always had the impression Joker was from London...obviously not.

i didn't even notice that til now.

I'd also like to point out that without drugs, most of the artists you listen to wouldn't be making music, Danny.

I'm not advocating drug use in any way, nor do I see it as an essential part of the creative process, but it is undoubtable that it influences many artists.

EDIT: It also ruins some, of course :)

I don't think that without drugs they wouldn't be making music. Thats a bit of a stupid statement. You either have creativity in you, or you don't, drugs have nothing to do with it.

What would cypress be rapping about in their songs if it weren't for weed?

Bal 06.11.2009 04:41 AM

they'd be rapping about the fucking pope, man

btw, i just discovered Harmonic 313 and I'm quite enjoying it. Apparently it's dubstep, so I might go further in that style - I have quite ignored it so far. So thanks to all the posters in this thread for reccomendations.
