Hal Hartley films

I dig his Films. Anyone else?

This is a list of the one's I've seen and have in my collection:

The Unbelievable Truth
Trust
Serviving Desire
Ambition
Simple Men
Flirt
Kimono
... and I've still got a long way to go.

ps: I'm also dying to have this soundtrack.

wasnt he the flyfishing guy in the yellow pages ads all those years ago?

Pookie 07.06.2006 07:14 PM

No, that was his father, JR Hartley. Hal started his career in filmaking to fund JR's fishing habit which he was becoming increasingly dependent on.

This is TRUE.

I saw the soundtrack to Henry Fool today.

I like that one Hal Hartley short where Parker Posey plays a clumsy rollerskating angel who smokes cigarettes.
