indeed. I've said this so many times, but my main console is a Gamecube with Game Boy Player add-on. The combined library of Gamecube, GB, GBC, and GBA is insane. The amount of classic and amazing games available for those platforms is unbelievable.

Gotta love the add-ons. I want to get the M3 addon for nintendo DS, because it allows you to load any gameboy game, DS game, sega games from all systems, SNES, and NES roms from an SD card. It would be so sweet to play FF3 on the go.

yeah, I used to use emulators on my DS. But I don't bother with emu anymore. It's way more fun to collect cartridges.

EDIT: By the way, FF3 was released for DS, so you wouldn't technically need a flashcart to play it on the go....

hmmm....well....I plan on tryin' to get my old GBA SP....still....the DS has homebrew which I'm super interested in.

yeah the zelda one is pretty sweet.

1. most DS homebrew is just updated GBA homebrew (unless it's reliant on the wireless)
2. there is a Zelda themed GBA SP.
3. GBA rules... especially SP as it's lit so you can see the screen perfectly.

Just finished Dragon Age as an elf mage on normal, not sure if I want to give another spec a try or really refine what I did on hard or nightmare.

I fucking love the game, though.

ocarina of time was amazing. the first time I played final fantasy tactics, I got pissed with it about 4 hours into the game, and didnt want to have anything to do with the bastardized child of squaresoft. After the disappointment and waste of time/money on ff9, I said "hell, its gonna be years before ff10 comes out and squaresoft redeems themselves for such an atrocity, might as well play Tactics..." Little did I know that 10, and 10-2 would suck, 11 would be an online rpg that I would never play, and that Tactics was an amazing game. I mean, the story starts off pretty slow, and lame. The battle system wasnt like anything I was used to. After the story started to pick up, the classes were expanded upon, characters developed story-wise as well as statistically, the game flew by. I replayed it several times. Havent played Tactics Advanced yet. And I NEED to get ff12. As well as 13 when it comes out.

It was a great xmas. The NCAA game is a loaner from my friend. I have a QB on Campus Legend mode playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish named Bucky Barnes. In his freshman year, he took an unranked ND team to an undefeated season. Last game of the year, the Irish were #3, and played an also undefeated #1 USC trojans in the Coliseum. Won by 10 points, and then played the Florida Gators for the National Championship, and won by 3 points. Also won the Heisman, Maxwell, and Obrien awards. Sophomore Season, repeated Nat'l champions, repeated heisman winner. About to start Junior season soon.

yeah when I started FFT again...I never remembered the first chapter to be so....boring. but yeah I would honestly tell you that with 12 you will A: be massively dissapointed with the battle system and even more wih the absurd stupid story or B: mildly enjoy the battle system and still be disappointed with the story progression or C: Like the battle system and be disappointed with the story progression.

I'll add....I play MW2 quite a bit...though I slowed down quite a bit because of FFT. Plus I have to grab some chords for my XBOX from my friend's place....btw I'm

Yeah, I keep going back to it. I'm hoping they'll improve on it by ironing out the niggles that makes it a bit irritating to play and they use a more up-to-date graphics engine for the sequel.
