Is there any fans here of Shearing Pinx?
If you don't know them they're a fucking awesome no-wave band from Vancouver, I've ben a fan of them for a couple years now.
My band recently played a show with them (which blew my mind, I was so excited to be playing with them, obviously) and they asked us about maybe doing a split with them. Of course we said "hell yeah", and we sent them a few songs we recorded, and we are now in the process of releasing a split cassette with Shearing Pinx. If there are any interested parties, let me know and I will ...let you knwo when it gets released/info/whatever as soon as I know it...

yea there've been some threads about these guys, their singles and recent lp are really fun, spazzy and frantic, but with a great shattered guitar sound. I missed them the last time they were out here but I see they're in NYC first of October...they do have like a million Cdr/cassette type releases however

Saw them in a basement in Ottawa. Pretty good stuff. Bought their Poison Hands album.

Shearing Pinx is sweet. Johnny from KK Rampage sent me their cassette split with them a long time ago and I dug it.

i know them very well as they are all vancouver based bods. jeremy the drummer is a really cool guy. they are really good check them out of you can.

amazing band, i love how they can play totally punked out shit or straight up noise or pretty much everything in between.

ended up playing with them on wednesday and got a listen to some new stuff they have out which is well well worth a listen.

I have been DYING while waiting for a Mutators full length! They are SOO fucking rad, like some crazy mix of sleaze, noise, Jad Fair, and the Screamers.

oh yeah, and Shearing Pinx, well, everyoine loves them! everyone loves siltbreeze!
