miller high life is a dollar a bottle yes? that's 12 oz. that's 72 oz. for a sixpack for $6 yeah? that's 8.3c/oz. i'd rather drink a mexican coca cola for that same $1/bottle price though (tastes better).

as per booze, red block wine is $10 for 3 liters (4-bottle box) at trader joe's, that's 101 ounces, so roughly 10c/oz. (9.99, whatever), which would be about $1.20 per 12oz. not nearly as cheap per drop of liquid, but better tasting, and when you see that wine has 2 or 3 times the alcohol of watery beer, and the serving size is about 5 or 6 oz, the better value of the wine is made absolutely evident

Ounce for ounce the better deal was even the Sierra Nevadas BUT you can't get any Sierra Nevada OR wine with just a single dollar bill like I did with that top off the night High Life pint can..

1 dollar a pint can. That is ONE dollar I gave the dude and walked out the door with a beer in my hand.

paid exactly $2.20 a pint for the Sierra Nevada. Walked by the liqour store on my way home. Again, it didn't taste half as bad as a coca cola, mexican glass bottle or otherwise (and here in LA the glass bottle mexican cokes go for $1.50 even in the hood)..

Again, I dare you to find a single dollar better spent!

Am currently in a pub by the river finishing off a pint of Guinness.

just had breakfast here! i had some sri lanka tea, with almond milk (tastes better than cowtit milk).

not sure about what booze yet but i'm sure it's coming.

if it turns out a hot day i might try a beefeater & tonic (got me some good tonic the other day). if it's cold, calvados, while there's time.

I can't decide on a favorite so I'm just drinking them all!

Actually most Europeans have conceded that American craft beer is like traditional Euro brews perfected. Also, California as more or less stolen the dominance of great American graft beers. Weed. Beer. Gorgeous women. Really, either California sold its soul is as miraculous a place as Rome or Jerusalem in regards to cosmic convergence ;)

My neighborhood has seemingly dozens of craft breweries. Too bad I am not much of a beer person. Nicest and most beautiful taproom here is about 30 minutes away at Hammerheart in Lino Lakes. Wood, runes and good metal in the background.
