Great video production. The acoustic gtr is really up in the mix on that one as well. Kudos to Lee for editing his own video!

pantophobia 02.08.2012 10:36 PM

just glad everyone enjoys it, just a small contribution to a larger scheme, perchance to glance, a chance to dream

EVOLghost 02.08.2012 11:42 PM

hirsute_biped 02.08.2012 11:42 PM

Hi All...

I just wonder if someone know what is the rest of the band who are with Lee...

Could be:

Alan Licht, Irwin Menkin and Steve Shelley, do I forget someone?

Thank you!

The line-up for the live act is Lee Ranaldo on guitars and vocals, Irwin Menken (not Menkin) on bass, Alan Licht on guitar, and Steve Shelley on drums; as far as I know. Contributors to the album in addition to the same names above: Nels Cline, Jim O'Rourke, John Medeski, and Bob Bert.

Off The Wall

I just saw a rainbow falling t the floor
Shattered into pieces / yr eyes ask ʻwhat for?ʼ
These days Iʼm all alone out in the middle of the whirl
These days I try to tell myself yr just some other girl
I can see the red door slammin on the stage
Chaos on the streets / these are the days of rage
These days are are so uncertain, satellites fall into the sea
These days itʼs all a question of what matters t you and me
Watch me as I fall
Then scrape me off the wall
And take me home
See me as I am
Just half a man
Tryin t get whole
Explosions in the city, explosions deep in me
Someone in the crowd has me falling at her feet
These days are so uncommon-flashing lights and sirenʼs calls
These days Iʼm trying hard t keep fr falling off the wall
Itʼs written in the sand
The life and death of man
As old as stone
Take me as I am
Take my hand
And take me home

Man, that song sounds like Counting Crows, Crash Test Dummies, or some other bollocks.

I am willing to agree. This music lacks everything that made sonic youth interesting.
