Sonic Youth Gossip - Making New years presents!

Alright so I'm doing double-mixtapes for people for the new year. I need some song/artist suggestions for them.

Up on the Plains will be the first. It's theme will be happy, upbeat songs for on-the-go listening. The name is from the Animal Collective song "Grass". I'm pretty sure I can pull this one off myself, but I'm definately willing to hear suggestions.

Alone Always, Forever will focus on darker music which is ideal on headphones in the nighttime. The name is a Khanate excert. I was looking towards Drone, Noise, Ambient, and other similar genres. I already have some Sunn0))), Boris, and John Zorn (w/ Mike Patton) covered, so feel free to suggest some more! I'm looking into some ROBE as well, it would be nice to do some promotion for him!

It will be available to Cassette and CD, and I'll mail copies to board members for whoever wants one
