Just heard them say this on the radio. Are they any good?

Sonic Youth are a pretty decent band.

I had that radio thing for awhile too. Now I take Seroquel.

Yeah, Klaxons are alright... can't really see the Sonic Youth influence in em tho...

But yeah, I've been to see em and they are really just a fun band, even if the music aint your thing you can still have a proper good time

It seems like one of the members is really into stuff like James Chance and even mentioned 8 Eyed Spy in the interview.

i couldn't imagine a worst thing than a klaxons record produced by albini...
it could've been not too bad but everything they've done sound so empty.

The fact that one member is almost totally blind is apparantly the reason why their stage sets are so flashy. I suppose it must help him know where he is on stage.

Yeah, blind is the new deaf. It said so in the NME. (I obviously had to get someone to read it for me, being blind myself)

The Klaxons are my new favourite band I think. I'm gonna buy one of their T shirts later so whenever I walk down the street people will look and think, hey that guy must have awesome taste in music. After all, that looks like a Klaxons T shirt he's wearing.

no, i don't think. i'm not clear... i meant : klaxons sounds lame to me but
it could have been worst (because of an hypothetical albini production for
example).

anyway, forget that.

I wonder when people will realize that recording is steve albini's work, he'd record even my farts if I pay enough. The fact that he's a producer of an album does not imply that he likes that artist/that music.
