What womens body type do you prefer?
 

This question is for guys and girls of course.

With celebritys these days slimming down to just bones, it makes me wonder what does the avergae joe really want.

The women of the 50s had more curves and i for one think it looks so much better seeing the curves of legs and waist then it is to see the curves of a rib cage. Or there is the fit athletic looking body that is generaly prefered today.

of those, i prefer the middle one (j mansfield?)......but i can dig the athletic look too...miss richie looks disgusting...though im not attracted to her when she looks healthy either....kate bosworth went from hot to disgusting...

yeh jayne mansfield, shes a babe, well was. I love the look of the 50s body, its so much more interesting to the eye for me. There needs to be a strong female voice to tell young girls that its hot to have meat on you.

isn't this why scarlett Jo is so popular?...though i suppose she isn't such a voice for younger girls....she doesn't have a disney show...the young girls get to look up to luminaries like hilary duff and lindsay lohan...oh my, i think ive stumbled upon a solution for one of the social problems of the world...

yeh scartlett does get a good rep for not being a bone. But like you said, she doesnt star in herby the stupid car, so the younger people dont get to see her.

I have a pretty wide-ranging appreciation of the female form, and have of course seen some very beautiful "waifish" girls, but overall I tend to favor somewhat heavier/curvier women. My threshold for what is "too fat" is far further along the scale than a lot of guys. There is a point where obesity becomes gross to me, but a certain amount of "overweightness" looks great to me. A lot of women carry the extra weight in great places, and that body type appeals to me a great deal.
I like a fit/athletic body too, but only if it looks strong. Bony, skinny girls aren't usually attractive to me, and a lot of times they just look weak and frail. Plus there is no butt! I am kind of neither here nor there on big boobs, but a nice-sized, nicely rounded butt is very appealing to me.

Its not like your answer has to be definitive. For instance, i think id like a girl from being skinny bean to 50s pin up, like Savage Clone said, there is a line between fat and having some meat on you.

But i still thinkt he 50s pin up body looks really sexy.

I'm really over the map. I think anything from Twiggy skinny to that Jenny Craig spokeswoman (from Cheers) to the chunky grocery store cashier can be sexy. It all depends on many other qualities.

I do think our culture way overemphasizes the importance of looks, to the detriment of public health even.

Well yeh for sure, there is plenty more qualities that make someone attractive. Iv had a babe like me before but she wasnt funny so i said no.

But yeh this is just about the womens figure and everyones different tastes.

i've heard this a few times: 'you'd be a bit too skinny for me i think'. i'm not what you'd call skinny though. and i do think women with curves are ten thousand times more attractive than toothpicks.

Ugh. No way. I really don't mind skinny at all. I know many attractive skinny women. But anorexic is different.

I also know attractive bigger women. Sexiness comes in all sizes.

I like anywhere from skinny to a little bit shubby. Not fat, there is a thick line between chubby and fat. The girl I like a lot right now is what you might call "chubby," but she is beautiful.

My girlfriend has a body like Miss Universe (third chick in the opening post) which is what I like. It's perfect, I reckon.

Anyway, I actually knew Miss Universe. She comes from my hometown and dated a friend of a close friend of mine. So I used to see her out a fair bit and at my friends lunches and shit. She was just a cheerleader back then though. They went out for like 6 years, he dumped her and then 3 or so months later she was Miss Universe. Really nice girl, and smart to boot.
