I realize that, and I still consider it a performance video.

It should count as a music video if it is even remotely musical.

If the main music audio is taken from the actual performance in the video, then I would say its a performance video. If the video is of some live performance, but the audio used is still the studio or album version of the track, then its still a music video.

At least thats how I classify it.

well i like march of the pigs because its a really really good performance, all shot with one camera and just has a nice concept. The closer video is great too though, as well as the hurt video (which is also live).
