For some reason, Ive always thought Pavement was a great name. Short, memorable, not trying to be funny or cute. And everytime I go past this sign on the freeway next to my house that says "uneven pavement ahead" i think of them.

Pavement is a fucking awful, obsequious twat of a name, and that's regardless of whether I've spelt obsequious right.

You can't spell obsequious without I.O.U!

Pavement's name has more meaning in the USA than in the UK, anyway. If they were called Sidewalk, people would be complaining with you.
