how many do you normally smoke per day?

It depends on the day. Today, I've smoked a pack and a half. Yesterday, it was less than a pack. Whatever the days activities include, dictates how much I smoke.

How about you? And what kind do you smoke?

I usually smoke a pack & a half to two packs per day & have been for nearly 15 years.
That comes out to around 2,500.00 per year which is ridiculous as well.

it's completely stupid & disgusting, but I'm addicted.

I've quit for a month twice & it's a shame I started back up because after about a month they taste & smell horrible.

Last Friday I ran out of smokes at around 8pm & I didn't get any again until about 5 pm the next afternoon, so that was a small victory, I suppose.

I remember these slogans plastered all around me high school. Bad, misleading propaganda.

After a few weeks of laying off....I take a few tokes of this for a good buzz. Sometimes a few times a day......my personal stash...and glass...

I smoke Marlbro Menthols, about half a pack a day. I use to smoke Newports but I had one today and it tasted like shit.

I smoke & also Dunhills, Gaulloises, American Spirits, & Nat Sherman MCDs every now & then.

I need a Jack.

Hard to tell as i'm a rollie person.I do smoke fags occasionally but i much prefer tobacco.Golden Vagina to be exact.

The duty on ciggies in the UK is a bit too much for me to smoke straights on a daily basis. I get through 50g of (duty-free) Golden Virginia every 5-6 days, with 60 Marlboro Reds for a weekend.

I have to say, my respect for those smoking man smokes (Marlboros, Camels) goes up tenfold. I've never understood Marlboro lights - why not just smoke silk cut and be done with it? Bloody part timers.

I've also recently found a specialist tobacconist near where I work, so I've ventured into the rich and heady world of flavoured, usually Dutch, tobacco, which is rewarding and great.

smoking depends on my mood and where i am. i smoke roll ups so its different to regular fags. if i am bored or stressed then i tend to smoke a lot. but if i am out and about its even more. normally its about 5-10 per day and on social occasions 30-40.

It really isn't anything like fair that most people live in places where it is perfectly affordable to slowly kill yourself in a stylish and enjoyable way.

i smoke between 5 and 10 marlboro lights/day. i used to smoke about 20 or 30 camels/day, but it takes it's toll. i have also given up cigs 3 times. once for a year, once for 6 months, and recently i gave up for 4 months, and started again during the world cup.

i really don't like roll ups.

Both of those are what I smoked for the first 5 years or so.

That's great you've cut down like that. I have my good days, but need to take a similar approach sometime very soon.

I'm not nuts about roll ups either. In my twenties though I couldn't afford cigarettes as much & I smoked lots of those.
