elder scrolls IV realeased!
 

For anyone who's into video games and stuff, elder scrolls IV: Oblivion is released to day for the pc and xbox 360. i spent 400 gosh darn dollars on a Xbox 360 just for this game. I'm pissed off that i dont already have it. it's going to be one of the best things to happen to gaming. here are some cool pics and links.

I've been waiting for this game for about a year now. But now that it's out, I'm unemployed and can't afford it. Morrowind was spectacular, and Oblivion must kick ass. I just hope that the next elder scrolls can be played online.

i got the game friday. i am a level 8. and its the best game i have ever played. i mean EVER. i think ive gotten 15 hours of gameplay. i cannot post screen shots though.

16 square miles and yes, you can kill anyone except a very small number that are integral to the main plot

Wow, how embarassing for me in retrospect. Well, I don't regret being excited about that game - it kicks ass. I don't play it right now. I "beat" it and quit a good while ago. I'll probably pick it back up again after I ugrade my PC and can crank up the graphics.

So, can you, like, own your property in Oblivion and shit?

Oh, but what a game it was. An absolute classic in RPG genre (well, maybe besides Gothic II. and Albion)

Yep, you can own houses. But, there's only a small number of houses you can buy in the game (around 10 maybe?)
It wasn't possible to own land in Morrowind, but you could just go in someones house, kill them, then call the house yours. This won't work in Oblivion because gaurds will come in the house and either make you pay gold or arrest you
