Plans for the weekend?

It's Friday night for me, sometime on Friday for most of you I imagine.

What are your plans for the forthcoming weekend, if any?

Danny Himself 07.14.2006 05:44 PM

I need more guitar strings so I'm getting the train into town tomorrow. Gonna meet up with bandmates and go to Pizza Hut or something. You?

Hip Priest 07.14.2006 05:46 PM

Tomorrow I'm going to see some archaeology displays, listen to some talks, and see some Roman gladiators knock the shit out of each other. Go for a drink afterwards, bit of shopping, you know the kind of thing.

Sunday, no plans as yet.

finding nobody 07.14.2006 05:47 PM

My Dad and i are gonna go and about to do somethin today.
I always have Thursdays and Fridays off. So that's my weekend, so this is kind of like my Sunday

sabastian, are you really gonna see gladiators?

The Romans are still occupying the Wirral? Man..

RdTv 07.14.2006 05:50 PM

Friday night here also. Tonight go out to eat and have some drinks, basically a chill night. Saturday: work on my son's crib, run some errands, dig at some shops, go to a get-together and go see Vampire Belt (Chris Corsano, Bill Nace) with some other psych/noise/folk/improv groups. what amazes me is this show is $3.

Chester ampitheatre. We get Vikings on the Wirral sometimes though.

Danny Himself 07.14.2006 05:52 PM

I saw a guy with a mullet on Hollyoaks once. I don't go near Cheshire anymore.

Inhuman 07.14.2006 05:54 PM

Jamming tomorrow, and hanging out with gf tomorrow. I have to start her on better music...I've been delaying it for a while now. She ONLY likes gangsta rap, so I'll start with some NWA then Dalek and then possibly she'll like MBV if she really likes Dalek.

krastian 07.14.2006 05:56 PM

Drink, hangout, drink, be sarcastic, drink, wallow, laugh at stuff.

I love the two LPs Ice Cube did a lot of years ago, The Predator and Lethal Injection. They are classics, by any standards.

Why change her musical taste? Cap some asses or something.

There's a salt museum in Northwich, you know. You're really missing out.

Hah. Dalek to MBV is quite a jump. There must be an interval somewhere...

Oh yeah, I went there a few years ago because they had an exhibition about pubs or something. Nice little place (the museum, not Prescott).

i can safely say the song i will hate playing most is "God Save the Queen" by the Sex Pistols, not because its a bad song or anything its just that i can play the fuckin thing backwards at this stage, at practice i actually try sing it in french or play it with my eyes closed just for a buzz.

h8kurdt 07.15.2006 06:56 AM

Last night I went out into Preston to see battle of the bands and stayed for the club afterwards and by god did I have fun. I have some pictures if I can remember how to put them up I would. The rest of the weekend I think i'm gonna take it easy.

I do have to meet the ex (Booze am bad) tomorrow so that'll be ever so awkward.

jon boy 07.15.2006 08:40 AM

today is the berlin love parade. i went down earlier to see what all the fuss was about but couldnt handle a 7ft german guy in a pink g-string waving his ya ya's in my face, especially at 2pm and with my hangover, i may go and have a look later.

Daycare Nation 07.16.2006 09:23 PM

Did everyone's weekend plans turn out as planned? I like planning, especially far ahead.

I recorded some good songs with a friend...maybe I'll post a link once we mix them and get them on a website.

Cantankerous 07.16.2006 09:23 PM

I don't fantasize about anything when I masturbate except for my penis exploding in ecstasy.

HaydenAsche 07.17.2006 12:37 AM

I went to a christian music festival. Sonshine. It was somewhat boring. I caught A Love For Enemies and a local band Mafesta and the Railroad Crossing. I hardcore danced a bit and hung out until really late, etc.

There were some rappers performing in Manchester recently, at Piccadilly Gardens. They turned out to be Christian type dudes, promoting their church. They were pretty good though.
