Is there anything you are a junkie about, apart from yourself?

I was a tv junky as a kid. Has done nothing for me in three decades though. I'm a midnight toker, but not a corporate smoker. Nicotine is a lame drug with little payoff. There is a nic high but it makes me feel kind of ill actually.

It kind of reminds me of when kids are shouting and you close the door on their faces and they continue to shout outside, even tho you can barely hear them. It takes a long time for them to get tired. I don't understand it.

I think she has a good point. The reason that "americanos" were popularized was because it's an "american espresso" so it's basically espresso watered down to be easier to consume. I don't like the idea either. I drink straight espresso and freshly roasted // ground Ethiopian yirgacheffe.

i only drink espressos, wellcharge, most of the time

i believe a good espresso is the best way to enjoy coffee

i can't stand starbucks and overcomplicating coffee

i don't think anyone has to know my name and overcharge me

also, im lactose intollerant

of course i'll have to drink anything at times given my addiction to caffeine

what factors do you look you look for to separate a good,knox-approved espresso from a bad one.

considering the preparation being right the only factor is the quality of the coffee itself.

i dont like it very thick i can say that, but im not a barista so i dont think i can say much.

the preparation isn't simply right or wrong, there are variables which aren't nescessarily wrong

come on, gmku would write a book of a post if somebody questioned his fabric knowledge

well, with espresso the golden rule i believe is that the contact between the coffee and the water is as quick as possible. so in my opinion most espressos are decent.

like i said im not a barista or a connoisseur just a caffeine addict.

machine, but both will do

i just cant stand filter coffee or the plunger, because both are bitter and upset my stomach

ps: my workplace announced a few weeks ago that they would no longer be paying for coffee. most people would be upset. I used it as an opportunity to sell $1.50 cups of coffee and now I'm filthy stinking rich. and by rich, I mean, Columbian dark roast.
