hey, 9/11 was some scary shit. I didn't know if the system was going to get all Mark of the Beast on us or what.. that morning I did not know if there were going to be tanks on the streets, if the system was going to start putting us in jail and camps.. it was scary. I have never been more nervous of the system in my life. while all the americans were scared of terrorists, I was terrified of the police, military and authorities... and with this whole Swine Flu scare its still up for grabs.. the are quarantining thousands of people for the flu, we ALL get the flu. if THEY say our flu is swine flu, then they will quarantine us too.. which is just a euphemism for incarcerate...

i mean, in all actuality 9/11 was a pretty scary day for me as well. that was my first day of high school & i'm from manhattan. i knew many people who were right there. including my brother & my best friend's father. my mom was a rescue worker. fortunately nobody i knew died then and there (i know people who've suffered some pretty horrible complications)

but still...some good humor never hurt. it's better than blind patriotism.

Yesterday, I found a DVD at the library that was titled How & When to Call 9-11.

Case said it was 21 minutes long.

Thousands and thousands of people die a day. If this happened to a group of people that weren't middle class American then it wouldn't almost be this much of a big deal.

further America already has an extensive history of abusing its own population. if it can happen with american guns and money and troops in places like Colombia and Iraq, why not here? If American forces can incarcerate arabs and latin americans, why not americans? If it happened in the past to Indians, Africans, the Japanese, what separates us from them? nothing..

I've always viewed 9/11, tragic as it was, as karma of sorts for our country's sins.
