please be sending the positive vibes. You've no idea how much I want this house.

:D

Zombie Robot 06.25.2009 01:44 AM

looks awesome! good luck chick. if its meant to happen it will. is this ur first house on ur own? u and ur man are lookn, right?

phoenix 06.25.2009 01:48 AM

yep it will be our first house. We've been looking for apartments for over 12 months and not found anything/not been able to buy anything/outbid.. It is no where near the city, but it's not much further out from where we are living at the moment.. it'd still be near a train station.. and it's the difference between having a 1 bedroom 1 carspace apartment, to a 3 bedroom house on a nice size block of land. The area/suburb is really lovely.

davenotdead 06.25.2009 01:50 AM

transmitting magic dave vibes your way

Zombie Robot 06.25.2009 01:55 AM

it looks/sounds so f-ing cool! i remember house hunting, it sux. be positive tho and try and convince urself that if for some fucked up reason this one doesnt work out, there is a reason for it! i remember being really upset not getting a place i totally wanted the second time i moved and a few months later heard straight up horror stories about the landlords. i could not ever live in an apt complex. im so used to my space and the freedom that goes along with a house.

phoenix 06.25.2009 02:00 AM

thanks dave!

yeh zombot, so far it really does seem like the coolest house, in the coolest place. To be honest I've had enough of really feeling like Im going to get a particular place, and it falling through. I've been trying to stay positive, but it's so hard with rejection after rejection. Hopefully this one will fall into place though..

It was going to be really hard for me to adjust to being in an apartment, but I was willing to do it in the right one.. we just haven't seemed to get it yet. So.. yes. House hunting in a completely different area at the moment. This suburb is where we both escape to on every other weekend for the day to just relax and feel better so..

phoenix 06.25.2009 02:11 AM

3 bedrooms = bedroom, boyshape's office, phoenix's art/music/drums room. YEAS PLS.

I can imagine all the spiders crawling in the wooden walls.

phoenix 06.25.2009 04:10 AM

:p I'm not too scared of spiders. North Australia is far worse.. more evil spiders and snakes.

I'm a terrible arachnophobic. I'm too happy living in a land, where the biggest spider is about 3cm long.
btw, that house looks like a peaceful place to live.
good luck w/that

verme (prevaricator) 06.25.2009 04:39 AM

the location is nice, i guess.
the house itself doesn't look that good and seems about to get suddenly smashed by a tree, slide down the hill or eaten by worms.

but here:

each to their own house choices. I think it is gorgeous and romantic, though I like dwellings which fit in with their surrounds, rather than trample them.

sonic sphere 06.25.2009 05:48 AM

it looks amazing! hope you get it.

chrome noise tape 06.25.2009 05:59 AM

oooh! very romantic P. sounds so quiet and peacefull. I need that to . The soul of the city make me sick every day. hope you get it. you will.

i already see you there:

floatingslowly 06.25.2009 08:45 AM

it better fucking have internet!

||f.slow_trans//broadcast--complete.

phoenix 06.25.2009 08:55 AM

it would most likely have access to adsl, but that is something we are checking out tomorrow. hmmm. I'm not sure what we'd do otherwise. It would probably be a deal breaker, we both use the internet 20374234 times a day for work and personal.. The house isn't actually that far out in the sticks. It just looks it.

ploesj 06.25.2009 08:57 AM

woooh that's a cool house! i'll keep my thumbs up for you!

and slavo, when i read about the spider thing i immediately pictured you screaming like a girl over a tiny baby spider. sorry.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to phoenix again.Excellent choice! I hope you and the fam have a great time in that home. Looks like a killer chunk of property, my type of architechural design, and homely scenery.

australia's idea of fast internet is pretty fucked up.. It's almost funny. almost, until I remember what year it is. google says that people have adsl there.. but when I try and look it up on ISP I can't because I dont have a phone number to type in yet.

Shifty Prophet 06.25.2009 09:30 AM

Of course, it is the outback.....

it's only a few km from where I am at the moment, which really is not the outback :p There is no way I'd ever move to cooberpeady or the likes. Except out of necessity. Most of South Australia is already highly radioactive thanks to early US nukes testing, but I'm fairly sure the northern desert is still okay.

I'm sorry phoenix but it is the outback period. Anything outside of a city in Australia is officially outback, just ask Mick Dundee.

There would be wombat and wallaby probably, I'm not sure.. too many people might have run them over and made them move away...

'the giant twenty-legged spider is a typically australian animal, that's why we try our best to protect it.'

Kloriel 06.25.2009 10:55 AM

this is my dream house

I just hope that dude knows he's likely to get a broken neck when a fucking breaker crashes into his face while he's sitting in a fucking tidepool like he's some kind of fucking starfish. Fuck you tidepool human. Don't come to my party.

floatingslowly 06.25.2009 10:57 AM

wait. that's a "dude"?

he must be european.

no self-respecting american would be caught dead in those swimtrunks.

Kloriel 06.25.2009 11:03 AM

I think is it Jimmy Shmidtz

SONIC GAIL 06.25.2009 11:14 AM

That's what we Floridians call a mankini.

Kloriel 06.25.2009 11:16 AM

i'd be too worried that i'd accidentally fuck a sea anemone to wear anything like that.

jon boy 06.25.2009 12:52 PM

it looks cool but it would be spooky at night.
