Nothing against Alex or anyone else that has left, but I still fail to see the big thing about staying/leaving a messageboard. I think of this place as part of my daily internet routine, like reading the news or checking my email. Plus, with members around the world, this places is sometimes a whole lot quicker to pick up interesting news/events than other media outlets.

If I was to leave, I might announce it, but probably not. And, even then I doubt that I could stay away completely, I'd still lurk for news and check PMs at least semi regularly.

Well I'm not really resigning as a member, but I definitely needed to note that I don't do shit here anymore. I don't read the threads, but I still come anyway. And when I do read them, I don't understand what the fuck you guys are talking about. I'm mostly not trying to get sucked in again, because way back in 2006 and 2007 when I was more active, my life comparatively sucked.

That reminds me, EveryNeurotic sent me a message on last.fm saying he wanted to come back and tell you all how the Eternal sucks. But he hasn't posted yet..

I miss him so much, hop he is doing well.

Just going to roam around town with my friends until the summer is over looking for something to occupy our time then I'll be making new friends and partying in Berkeley.

This place is always up and down. I post here because.. I dont know why. Because of flots at first, and then stayed because all the other places I post at aren't so much "community" as actually related to the topic of the forum.. so I post at them but only really when I have something to say/need help with whatever subject they are about.. This forum is the most community orientated of all the places I visit at the moment.

In the past I posted at numerous forums that belonged to people who used to post at places I used to post at.. You know.. so I had 5 or six forums full of people I knew, that were only about catching up, and talking shit. But this was before myspaz/facebook/twatter.
These days I don't really speak to many of those people anymore... and I havent made any new groups of internet friends.

so, will you be back next week?

I don't really know. I never post here anymore, and I am tired of coming to the site and just reading mindlessly. I'm deleting the SY forum out of my bookmarks!!!!! Not that I h aven't done that before, but hopefully I'll be able to keep boredom at bay.

I've always wanted a forum with a "delete me" option in the user preferences.

that way, it would do away with silly threads like this one, yet still give people the satisfaction of ending it all.

parting, sweet sorrow and all that done away with by a single button.

It would be awesome if it automatically deleted all of their posts and threads too. That way, if you made a thread about yr leaving, before you did it.. It would just get delet0red.

Anyone ever tried drinking absinthe in the middle of the day when you have nothing required of you in siber action? Dont worry I am getting work done.
What really makes no sense is that i can still half type.

Maybe it was not absinthe but juiced licorice strands.

Absinthe is wonderful, everything slows down incredibly.
